While loading the van for Rockport, CH 5, sent reporters to interview us. They labeled our mission, Hope in a Handbag & it stuck. Our 2nd campaign took us to Beaumont & Orange, TX to deliver handbags & school supplies for teachers in need.

We received the Lift the Spirit award by Demdaco, one of our long-time vendors. Their donation of $2500 went to Bethel Baptist Church's relief efforts, the charity of our choice.
